B.O.E.M. is a roots reggae dub band from Italy. The five-musicians line-up comes from different experience into reggae music and they gather a skilled team around their first new homonymous LP (© One more dub).
This meeting gave birth to a roots music dogma renewal through the original tunes. They highlight stories of experiences and emotions and recover the value of lyrics with typical flair for folksinger songwriting supported by an astonishing rhythm section and dub style.
That’s why this band shine of a very peculiar authenticity and show the “reggae gone country” tradition up, close to Beres Hammond and Freddie McGregor covering Kenny Rogers or Roger Miller’s ballades, and keep an eye on the soul of Sam Cooke's melodies no less than Marley ones.
B.O.E.M. means Brothers Of Eleven Mountains.
